ACU Homecoming 2013

Well this Homecoming was definitely better than last year's! I was hired to take pictures during the parade and the game for the Athletic Department (perks of my mom working there!), and I also just took pictures of the other floats and such. It was a lot of fun, and it felt good to take pictures again!  The parade was spectacular and we won the game!

I love my major!

I love being an art major. Here are some of my recent projects in my 2D and 3D classes!

My wire project: Still have that soccer girl in me!

Our "box" project. I used a cage. I call it "Uncaged and Healed". Photography & Art, Theatre, Doctors, and of course my faith & Christ: these things have all helped me heal and get out of this "caged" feeling of trying to fit into the world and blend in. I am my own person. And it is well with my soul. It's not finished yet, but I thought I'd post the almost-final product!

Value painting. It was my first time working with acrylics and I definitely had no idea how difficult they are to work with! But I'm extremely pleased with how it turned out!

Duck Dynasty, Josh Wilson, could it get any better?

So my family was invited to a banquet fundraiser put on by Fort Worth Christian Schools. It was so awesome! We got to meet Willie, Korie, John Luke, Sadie, Will, and Bella Robertson from Duck Dynasty!! They are an awesome family, and they're very genuine. Willie spoke about his life and success as a CEO and how God was the only way he could have come this far. Josh Wilson was also there as the entertainment, and he was AWESOME. He's an incredible Christian artist. And he's super nice! It was so cool getting to meet some of my favorite people and spend time with my family!

With my soul

Well, I did it! I got my second tattoo. I encourage you to visit my other blog (Click this link --->) Lessons I Learned in 2013 and read the entry about this specific tattoo after you see the picture, because it explains it full detail of why I got this tattoo, why I got it where I did, and what I believe about tattoos in this day and age. And since this blog is specifically for pictures, I didn't want to bore you with a super duper long post. ;) So without further ado, here is my second tattoo! (Hey, I rhymed without even meaning to! Wait, I did it again!) Haha, love you guys!

Willie Robertson Hardcastle!

Willie has grown up so much since the last time you've seen him! He looks like he should be put on a calender or something. :)
